Use the Export wizard to export preferences from the Workbench to the local
filesystem. Exporting an existing preference file from the IDE Workbench lets you easily
share preferences with other individuals or a group.
To export a preference file:

Select .

In the Export wizard, select , and then click Next.

Select one of the following:

| Export all |
To add all of the preferences to the file. |
| Choose specific preferences |
To export only the specified preferences to the file. |

Click Browse and locate the preferences file on the
local filesystem.

Click Finish.
Note: If there were no changes to the original preference settings in the IDE, the
exported preferences file will be empty.
